May 7 126/365

Tomorrow I will harvest this--our first tomato from our garden.
I'm really impressed with us city-folk.

Another Dexter shot--napping with a stuffed bunny. Oh, the cuteness!

May 3 122/365

This is Dexter. We adopted him from Uncle Jerry and Aunt Jeanett's neighbors, Danny and Linda Selman. I don't know what made me think that a third cat was a good idea, but there it is. He's adorable, and we love him.

OK, it's a few days after the fact. Garrett did a report on Abraham Lincoln and had to dress up and deliver a speech. I am particularly proud of the hat and beard!

Lauren celebrated Swine Break '09 with a watermelon. She's the only person in the family who will eat them.

April 28 117/365

I'm pretty sure this is the last of my quasi-series of "Crap on My Dresser" shots.

April 27 116/365

These very old binoculars were my dad's, when he was a Boy Scout.

April 25 114/365

The first in a quasi-series of close-ups of things on my dresser.

So would this be the armpit of the tree?
Or the crotch of the tree?

Just another shot of Leroy, in black/white, playing with the contrast a little.

April 19 108/365

Just like a dog, my son enjoys a nice car ride with the window down.

April 18 107/365

Two pictures today, instead of one. It's the same shot, I just played with the color in the second one, which is actually the first one, because I never remember that blogger loads the pictures in reverse. I do love Picasa 3!

Yeah, I know it's been 3 weeks. I have no excuse other than my own laziness. It's not like I don't have enough time in my day for 10 minutes of picture-taking and another 10 for blogging. I'm just lazy. This is a crazy time of year at school, but still.

Anyway, back to blogging.

Here's an action shot of Sadie running around in the back yard. There's still a good amount of leaves on the ground, and the grass isn't yet back to 100% green. (It is by now, three weeks later.)
