The Unicorn Relays were today. Here's our star female runner, blowing them away in the Women's Medley. (I was sitting up high in the bleachers, which is why it's still blurry, even though I had it set correctly. I think. Things have been a little fuzzy since the Princess shared her crud with me.)

I wish I had seen this sticker about a year ago.

The Princess has been ill. We finally went to the doctor on Wednesday. She loves the doctor, but hates that the doctor is a pediatrician. Poor Elmo.

The Texas Mountain Laurels are blooming. They are so pretty, and they smell like grape Koolaid. Too bad they only last about two weeks each year. At least the trees look nice the rest of the year.

I was taking the kids to the dentist after school, and this guy was behind us at a light. Yes, that's a skeleton mask he's wearing. I had to take this shot in my side mirror, which is why it's so poor quality.

Lauren convinced me to go to the Goodwill Store on Monday. It was a holiday from school--one of the bad weather days we didn't use. I found this lovely shirt while waiting for The Princess to decide her hands were too dirty; this is one of the places Jeff is forced to eat at while in Booger County.

It was late. I was desperate. There was fruit.

Pioneer Woman's Apple Dumplings. Yum. It's Valentine's Day, and in this family, food equals love. Yummy, yummy, yum, yum, yum. Love.

Shoes! Oh, how I love shoes! My mom told me about a sale at the Marmi Outlet in San Marcos, so I went up there Friday after school. She said Everything In The Store Is $19.99.
She was Not Kidding. I got these three pair of shoes for $64 (tax included) and the regular price would have been $260! How awesome is that?
The back pair on the left are eelskin. Yum. As Ogden Nash once said, "I like eels."
The red pair in the middle are some kind of fancy, shiny nubuck, and the tan on the right are calfskin, and they are pretty skinny, which doesn't exactly fit my Fred Flinstone feet, so they will probably be Special Occasion Shoes, which is really a shame, because I like them a lot.

I played with a couple of the features on Picasa here. Namely, the tint and movie grain.
